Become a Consortium Member
To become a BTSA consortium member:
- Obtain support and approval from your governing board, superintendent,
site administrators and teachers' bargaining unit
- Identify a District Coordinator and a District Advisor
- Recruit support providers selected through a criterion driven
process
- Budget for BTSA including at least $2,000 in in-kind support
for each participating teacher
- Authorize support providers to complete BTSA-required training
— 5 days of CFASST Year I and 4 days of CFASST Year II.
- Identify eligible 1st and 2nd year teachers
- Match support providers with participating teachers according
to site, grade level, and/or subject matter
- Train all administrators
- Sign a Memorandum of Understanding
